September 2026 was a very fun month for me, both professionally and personally. Read on to see why.

September 2026 Professional Highlights

Sissy Pageant

The Sissy Pageant was the most significant event around the Empire this month for sure, and possibly the year!  There were 19 Mistresses taking part in judging the photos and answers that were sent in, and we all agreed it was a tough, tough choice in deciding who to vote for.  The awards ceremony was held on Saturday, 19 September @ 7:00 p.m. Eastern.

First, a few words from our outgoing queen from the 2025 Sissy Pageant, MaxiePetunia:

“It has been a deep honor to be your sissy queen for this past year, and I am grateful to each and every Mistress and Sissy (contestant or not) for making this little sparkly corner of the web such a marvelous place to be and share and celebrate. Thank you all, and especially thank you to Ms. Harper and all the Mistresses who are working so hard to give us this marvelous pageant.”

Get Girlie

The Get Girlie podcast is designed for sissies, cross-dressers, those who love feminization, and those who love all things girly! We had our second ever podcast and it was a lot of fun! You can check them out on your favourite podcast platform.

Make sure you check it out in October and especially in November.  I’ll be hosting the 09 November episode, and the theme will be “Sissies and Festivities.”

For now we are holding this podcast on the second Monday of every month.  At the end of the year we’ll re-evaluate and see if we should hold it more frequently.

My First Video

I advanced my technical skills this month and figured out how to make a video on Canva.  It’s not super high-tech, it’s simply a still photo of me with an audio attached, but still–small steps!  Stay tuned to see if I progress any further with this.

Favourite Calls

I had two of my all-time favourite types of calls this month.

Ignore Calls

I don’t know what it is, but I simply LOVE getting an ignore call.  It’s great to think of the sub at the other end of the line, frantically getting more and more aroused as I go about my business, whatever that may be:  housework, showering, writing up a blog post, or any one of a number of other things.

Here’s the review he left me afterward:  “I just had a Discord session with Mistress Sascha. While I showed off for her, she absolutely left me to my own devices for half an hour. She could have shifted the dynamics of the session with a few words of background noises, but chose not to do so, which made the whole experience weirdly intense. I’m an experienced caller with LDW, but this definitely was a memorable first for me.”

Service Subs

Ah, service subs, they are a joy for every Mistress.  This one fully met my expectations. (Hint:  if you’re not sure how to provide service to me, check out this page).

Around The House

This month, our fridge suddenly broke down.  Still, it had had a good run.  So now we have a new, bigger fridge.  It needs to be bigger than our previous one as we do a lot of experimental cooking with various ethnic foods and the seasonings to be used in the dishes take up a lot of room.

September 2026:  Featured Cookbook From My Collection

I own over 200 cookbooks (I know, I know).  I’m going to share some of them with you over the next few months.

I love this cookbook so much!  Maybe I don’t like every recipe, but I certainly enjoy trying them.  It’s a classic in its field, both of Indian cooking and vegetarian cooking.

According to the Amazon website for the book, the recipes come from such locations as “a seaside villa in Balli, a Buddhist temple in South Korea, street bazaars in Kuwait, and a 300-year-old inn in Kyoto to the noodle shops of Bangkok and her own mother’s kitchen in Delhi.”

According to Sarah Jampel at Bon Appetit, Madhur Jaffrey has written “30 cookbooks (and some children’s books too.”  Also according to Amazon, seven of her cookbooks “have won James Beard Awards.”  In addition, Jaffrey “was named to the Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America by the James Beard Foundation. She is the recipient of an honorary CBE and is also an award-winning actress, having won the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin Film Festival, with numerous major motion pictures to her credit.”

Words I Didn’t Know

In September 2026 I continued my reread of all the Nero Wolfe novels by Rex Stout.  I strongly recommend these if you’re looking for easy-to-read mysteries that are intelligent, well-written, and with minimal gore.  However, every now and then Stout will throw out words that make me blink.  Here are some of them with all definitions from the online Merriam-Webster dictionary:

• replevy:  “to take or get back by a writ for replevin”
• repleven: “an action originating in common law and now largely codified by which a plaintiff having a right in personal property which is claimed to be wrongfully taken or detained by the defendant seeks to recover possession of the property and sometimes to obtain damages for the wrongful detention”
• Four In Hand:  “a necktie tied in a slipknot with long ends overlapping vertically in front”
• snap-brim hat:  “a hat usually made of felt with the brim turned up in back and down in front and with a dented crown”
• apodictic:  “expressing or of the nature of necessary truth or absolute certainty”
• rodomontade:  “bragging speech”
