August 2026 was a busy month both professionally and personally. I’ll tell you a bit about it, but first, I’d like to tell you something else.
This is the post that almost wasn’t! I had started re-thinking whether I would continue including the monthly highlights, and in fact had decided against doing so. However, then a caller told me that a large part of the reason that he did call was because of these posts. After that, I re-arranged my thinking and decided that, for the moment at least, I would continue with them.
Moral of the story: always remember that your input matters!
August 2026 Professional Highlights
Get Girlie Podcast
August saw the kickoff of a brand new podcast at the empire, and I’m taking part in it. It’s called “Get Girlie” and it’s aimed specifically at sissies, cross dressers, and all those who are interested in feminization. If that’s you, make sure you either tune in to our live podcast or listen to the replay on your favourite podcast platform. You can find us on Spreaker here.
For the remainder of 2026, we’ll be airing live on the second Monday of each month. After that, we’ll re-evaluate the frequency.
We’ll also take turns hosting. I’ll be your host in November, and my theme will be Sissies and Festivities. It won’t just be about Christmas, although goodness knows the Christmas parties start in earnest around then.
Pass The Penis
For the first time in the nearly 1.5 years that I’ve been with the Empire, I’ve had a Pass The Penis call. It was a lot of fun, too.
If you’re wondering what a Pass The Penis call is, it’s simple. You set up the call with the dispatcher for as long as you think you can manage, and you choose the Mistresses you want to talk to. Then we take turns! We tease you and see if you can last during our time with you, and if so, you can ask us to send you back to the dispatcher so that she can transfer you on to the next Mistress.

Personal Highlights
Movie Watched
I don’t watch many movies in general, preferring to binge-watch TV shows. Also, when I do watch movies, I don’t normally watch movies based on a much-loved book, simply because I don’t like having the screen images replace the images I have in my head. However, I broke down and watched Project Hail Mary, and it was every bit as charming as I could have hoped for.
I imagine its massive commercial success is due partly to Andy Weir’s role in translating his book to film (authors aren’t always involved so closely). Also, let’s face it, Ryan Gosling is any movie’s superpower.
Some of the book was lost in translation of course, but the movie made it enjoyable in a different way. I won’t be rewatching it endlessly, the way many on social media say they’re doing, but it was a good watch.
Words I Learned This Month
Over the summer I felt the need for some comfort reads, so I started zooming through Rex Stout’s Nero Wolfe novels. Considering the first of these was published in 1934, the books have (for the most part) aged remarkably well.
In addition to the entertainment value, they’re remarkably educational. Stout never talks down to his audience, and Wolfe isn’t the only character who has a broad vocabulary. Check out what I learned just from this one author this month:
- consilience: this means “the linking together of principles from different disciplines especially when forming a comprehensive theory” (online Merriam-Webster)
- swingeing: this means “very large, high, or severe” as in high cuts to a budget (online Merriam-Webster)
- hellgrammites: these are “the larvae of eastern dobsonflies” (Missouri Department of Conservation)
- guggle: this is simply a synonym of gurgle (online Merriam-Webster)
- massaranduba: this is “a very heavy and hard wood from South America” (via Betterwood)
